Abstract

Fun and humor are part of man's nature and character, and man has a strong desire for such things that he wants to have the means to express joy and expansion. Even the bitterest things can be easily conveyed to others through humor and good nature.

Islam not only allows laughter and entertainment but also prescribes such rules and regulations that man can fulfill his natural needs while living within it. And its cultural traditions can also be nurtured. As the head and governor of an Islamic state, the Messenger of Allah made the best arrangements for his state, the tastes and interests of the people, and their entertainment, and set an example for the rulers that like other countries, affairs, oppression and Excess should not be considered. Rather, entertainment and human humor is a part of nature and in this nature is the survival of human society. He not only allowed laughter and humor, but he himself was cheerful and happy.

Humor is an essential element of human life and it has great importance, Islam has also given importance to it. Regarding Sirat-e-Tayyaba, we also get a lot of guidance from it and it is justified with certain conditions, for example, no one should be mocked or criticized or humiliated, but there should be good humor for entertainment, because Shariat-e-Islamia has declared it recommended and permissible.

In this article, we will discuss the introduction of humor, its Shariah status and its limits and limitations from the perspective of Islamic Shari'ah and present its analysis and what are the opinions of psychologists, Islamic and Western thinkers in this regard.
